About Odoo POS.
Does Odoo POS work without internet?+
It keeps taking orders through short internet outages and syncs them when the connection returns. It's designed for interruptions, not for running offline for days, so a reliable connection still matters. We'll help you plan for your location.
What hardware do I need?+
Odoo POS runs in a web browser, so a phone, tablet, laptop or PC is enough to start. Barcode scanners, receipt printers, cash drawers and scales can be added depending on your business. We advise on compatible hardware before you buy.
Can it issue TRA receipts?+
Yes, through our TRA VFD integration, which connects Odoo sales to TRA's fiscal receipt system so your staff don't re-enter sales in a separate EFD system.
Can customers pay with M-Pesa or other mobile money?+
Yes. M-Pesa, Mixx by Yas, Airtel Money, cash and card can all be set up as payment methods, and a bill can be split across several of them.
